CLC distributes in Europe and around the world using specialist food handling logistics platforms that apply the most innovative temperature-controlled storage systems.
Using an automated process, the product is sealed inside double-layer polyethylene bags that are placed inside individual cardboard boxes, designed for strength and food safety.
CLC’s bag-in-box containers are available in 10 or 20 kg formats.
Compagnia Lattiero Casearia uses temperature-controlled tanks to transport our product in bulk throughout Europe by road. The trucks are equipped with real-time product temperature detection systems and GPS for vehicle tracking and delivery time monitoring.
Temperature-controlled tanks can carry up to 32 tons.
Mini tanks are small stainless-steel tanks that are loaded onto refrigerated trucks for road transport.
In this case, the transported content is 1000 kg.
The pallecon system is similar to the one used for bag-in-box containers, but on a larger scale. The product is sealed inside double-layer polyethylene bags holding 1000 kg, then enclosed in individual plastic containers, which are loaded onto refrigerated trucks for road transport. The containers are designed to be stacked after emptying for easier storage.
A single pallecon holds 1000 kg of goods.
Apart from the systems mentioned above, Compagnia Lattiero Casearia of Roccafranca (BS) also uses temperature-controlled insulated containers cooled to – 18 °C for product transport. These are loaded onto ships for the intercontinental transport of frozen products in bag-in-box containers.
CLC relies on specialized food handling logistics platforms that use the most advanced cooling and freezing technologies to deliver to destinations in Europe and worldwide products that, when frozen, keep the same functional and organic qualities of fresh products.
We ship by road in isothermal tankers and refrigerated trucks and by sea in refrigerated containers at -18°C controlled temperature.
